Graham Barham is a name that’s quickly gaining recognition in country music. Born in the rural village of Oak Ridge, Louisiana, which he said has a population of just 150 people, Barham’s musical journey began early, singing in church and growing up on his family’s farm. These humble beginnings laid the foundation for a career that’s now on the cusp of greatness.

Barham’s passion for music was evident from the age of 10 when he first picked up the guitar. His talent blossomed at Belmont University in Nashville, where he honed his skills among a community of artists and songwriters. It was here that Barham’s unique sound began to take shape, a blend of traditional country with a modern twist.

The release of his debut EP, “North of Hell,” marked a significant milestone in Barham’s career. The EP showcases his ability to craft songs that resonate with listeners, drawing from personal experiences and emotions. His track “Preachers Need People” found viral success, leading to a distribution deal with Virgin and a global publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music and Cornman Music.

Barham’s music reflects his life’s journey, from the loss of a close friend’s mother, which inspired his first significant songwriting experience, to the dreams of becoming a professional baseball player or a farmer like his father. I had a chance to meet him after photographing the opening songs of Dierks Bentley’s show, and got a chance to ask him to autograph my ticket. Onstage will be following his career, I’m confident we’ll meet again.
