Seth Meyers Headlining Comedy Fundraiser

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (Tuesday, December 8, 2015) – Cancer Support Community Central Indiana (CSC) will welcome Emmy Award winning writer, comedian and “Late Night” host Seth Meyers as headliner for the 16th annual comedy fundraiser Laughing Matters on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 9:15 p.m. in downtown Indianapolis at the Hilbert Circle Theatre. Tickets start at $45.50 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 14 at IndianapolisSymphony.org or charge by phone at (317) 639-4300.

Laughing Matters is Cancer Support Community’s signature fundraiser, helping to generate more than 25% of the organization’s annual operating dollars to fund its free programs of support for those burdened by cancer.

“We are thrilled to bring in Seth Meyers for the 2016 event. His name recognition and general popularity provide Cancer Support Community the opportunity to raise more funds, and we will in turn be able to serve even more patients, caregivers and children impacted by cancer,” said Cancer Support Community President and CEO Eric Richards. “Seth Meyers is helping us ensure that no one faces cancer alone right here in central Indiana, and that’s pretty incredible.”

Schedule for the evening:

  • 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. – VIP Reception/Cocktails
  • 8 p.m.-8:45 p.m. – Presentation
  • 8:45 p.m.-9:15 p.m. – Intermission/General Public access to theatre
  • 9:15 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. – Seth Meyers
