Background and Bio: Born November 10, 1983, in Longview, Texas, Miranda Lambert is a country powerhouse with 8 million albums sold. Her 2005 debut Kerosene went platinum, followed by hits like “Gunpowder & Lead,” “The House That Built Me” (Grammy winner, 2010), and “Mama’s Broken Heart.” Her 2024 album Postcards from Texas includes “Wranglers” and “Alimony.” She rose on Nashville Star (2003), appeared on CMT Crossroads, and voiced a character in The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild (2022). Her music’s in The Longest Ride (“Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain”). Awards include three Grammys, 14 CMA Awards, and 20 ACM Awards, including Entertainer of the Year (2022).

Performance Review: Lambert stormed out, her pink cowboy hat blazing, and ripped into “Fastest Girl in Town,” its rebel energy setting Georgetown ablaze. “Gunpowder & Lead” was a sing-along peak, her fierce vocals shaking the Big River stage. Promoting Postcards from Texas, “Wranglers” and “Alimony” were fiery highlights, their Texas twang perfect for Two Step Inn, as Rolling Stone noted. Lambert’s banter—“Georgetown, y’all are my people!”—was pure Lone Star pride. “The House That Built Me” hushed the crowd, its tenderness a contrast to her fire. A cover of Merle Haggard’s “Okie from Muskogee” honored her roots, while “White Liar” closed with a bang. Her band, tight with pedal steel, amplified her star power. The crowd was electric, making her set a Day One pinnacle.

She didn’t permit photography, for whatever reason, but we have images from other shows we’ve covered.
Final Thoughts: Miranda Lambert’s Two Step Inn set was a Texas-sized triumph, blending fire and heart. Her headlining performance was a homecoming, cementing her as country royalty
